It was so helpful to have postpartum support in the weeks following the birth of my daughter. She surprised us with an early arrival and we were not ready! With no family living nearby it was so comforting to know that we had someone prepared to come help. When we were exhausted and overwhelmed, our doula arrived with a smile, patience, and reassurance. She was there to provide support for all of us. Not only did she deliver excellent newborn care and breastfeeding support, she was also there for more general assistance such as cooking, doing laundry, running errands and helping get the baby gear assembled. It was a huge shift to go from pregnancy to motherhood and I am so grateful that we had the support of a postpartum doula to help guide us through that transition.

Trauma-Informed Somatic Integration
tiffanynarron.homegrownfamilies@gmail.com
Tiffany is a postpartum and bereavement doula living in the mountains of North Carolina on Cherokee ancestral land. She supports both birthing persons and families after birth in postpartum as well as after the life-altering experience of perinatal loss. She centers postpartum support around compassionate care and active listening to meet the needs of the birth person and/or family how they desire to be met in that tender time– helping to care for baby and share methods of wearing, feeding, and sleeping with baby AND nurturing the birth person to ensure they have nourishing foods, space and support around their physical, mental, emotional needs and care, as as well as the needs of the whole family. She blends somatic centering and creative healing arts modalities to meet both postpartum and bereaved families in a warm, heart-centered space with compassion and care.
Tiffany is passionate about reproductive justice and reproductive care for all people and is an advocate in her community, volunteering her time in support of the Perinatal Emotional Health Network of Western N.C. as well as the local chapter of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. When she isn’t caring for birthing persons and families, you can find her curled up with a book of poetry or wandering the forests of Madison County.
