corey.homegrownfamilies@gmail.com

Corey was drawn to becoming a doula after having her first child in 2019 & trained through pregnancy with her second child. Being very independent & a planner, she researched everything and felt she was prepared for postpartum. Once home, she and her husband found they needed a lot of support even with all the prior prep. With a passion to help other new families navigate the postpartum period, Corey is excited to help clients find their own balance in parenthood. She provides encouraging support while sharing stories, educating, and helping families rest and bond during the transformative postpartum months. Her wide range of physical, emotional, and educational support offered with an open mind, loving hands, and calm presence. She is currently offering postpartum doula services, breastfeeding and postpartum education; and in-home breastfeeding support.

Colette Featherston, PCD(DONA)

She/Her Certified Postpartum Doula, She/Her/Hers

colette.homegrownfamilies@gmail.com

Following her child’s birth, the varied pieces of Colette’s life experience came together to inspire her to become a postpartum doula.  She brings her passion for social justice, mental and physical well-being, creativity, community and connection with nature to families as they navigate this challenging and transformational time. Colette is completely inspired by the possibility of creating spaces for healing, ease and connection during the postpartum.  This could look like helping a tired parent get a nap, listening to a birth story, preparing a nutritious meal, offering breast or bottle feeding support, normalizing the rollercoaster of emotions and many more possibilities.
